About the Brand

As Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Sóley Organics, Sóley Elíasdóttir oversees all creative aspects of her brand. She's involved in every aspect of the company, including creating new products. An avid family person and mother of four, Sóley is all about healthy, hygge, and organic living.

Sóley had been an iconic figure in Icelandic film and theatre for over a decade when she left the stage to focus on her family’s heritage of harnessing the healing properties of the native herbs in Iceland. 

Sóley couldn't find personal care products that were both sustainable and effective until she began to create her own. With an unwavering passion for nature and botanicals, Sóley handcrafted formulas from original recipes that had been in her family for generations.

The wild herbs are handpicked from certified organic lands all around Iceland by Sóley and her family. Sóley Organics was founded in 2007 and the heritage of herbal practices in Sóley’s family goes back further than that.  

Today Sóley Organics are amenity stables in luxury spas and hotels around Iceland. And Sóley herself is in high demand by local brands and designers for various collaborations, including annual launches during Design March in Reykjavík.
