About Sóley from Sóley Organics
The woman behind Sóley Organics is Icelandic actress Sóley Elíasdóttir, a long-standing iconic figure of the country’s theatre and film world. Now she has left the stage to embrace a family tradition that goes back 16 generations: harnessing the healing properties of herbs. Following in the footsteps of her great grandmother, Sóley created Sóley Organics in 2007 and launched her first product, an all-purpose therapeutic cream called GRÆÐIR, which means ‘healer’ in Icelandic.
Philosophy. Sóley Organics is true to the Sóley family ethos, best described by Sóley´s great grandmother: “God created us on earth and the herbs that can heal our ailments.” Guided by tradition and the therapeutic qualities of wild Icelandic herbs, Sóley Organics strives to deliver pure products inspired by nature. From the integrity of our ingredients to the expertise we pass on to our customers, at Sóley Organics we are passionate about healthy skin and dedicated to keeping the environment pure.

Certified organic carrier and essential oils. We only use certified organic vegetable and essential oils.
No animal ingredients / no animal testing. With the exception of beeswax, none of our ingredients are derived from animals. Nor do we test our ingredients or products on animals. All products are suitable for vegetarians.
Finest ingredients. Our premium quality ingredients are 100% natural, safe and ecologically friendly. As a result, our products are free from parabens, preservatives, artificial colours and fragrances, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin or any other chemical agents that can harm man or nature.
